Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress, best known for the roles of Dr. Sydney Hansen and Dr. Lane Hunter, respectively. She's also appeared as detective Stella Bonasera within the CBS drama series CSI: NY. Her work also garnered acclaim due to her breakthrough television debut role as Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap show 'Guiding Light'. She has appeared in a number of films, including '15 Minutes,'Percy, Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and 'Snitch. It is reported that she is making a film adaptation of author Elisabeth Kubler Ross's autobiography 'The Wheel of Life' together with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the pair that produced the film "Immortals'".
